One of the team captains suffered a season-ending injury in November of 2021. Anthony elected to stay in Amarillo and serve as a volunteer assistant coach to stay with his teammates as he recovered. I did a one-on-one interview with him to chronicle his recovery process and his college commitment.

The Wranglers partnered with a nonprofit that provides schools in the Texas Panhandle with educational programs not always accessible. Players and staff visited over 30 schools throughout the season to talk about pillars of health and play games with students during their gym class.
